Dread: Music for mass murderers that just won't die!

Alright, I've been trying to get Dread going for quite some time now. I've had plenty of obstacles that got in the way of progress, but things are finally starting to go my way. We have plenty of artwork to last us a while. I have written a decent amount of songs. And I have been working with my pal, Dj (bassist), for the past few weeks to get the songs down. The next step is to get to a studio (not a recording studio) and get some practice time in with Bret (drummer). Dread is supposed to be a horror-driven crossover thrash band. The music combines elements from all sorts of genres. Specifically, thrash (crossover/thrash metal), death metal, and punk.

Here is the track list so far (with approximated times):
I. The Dead Walk! [Introduction] (2:30)
II. Street Thrash
III. F.F.L. (2:15)
IV. Thrashard or Die (1:10)
V. Ripped to Shreds (4:00)
VI. Welcome to Camp Blood
VII. Guinea Pig (3:10)
VIII. Death Rattle (3:05)
IX. March of the Undead [The Dead Walk Part II]

I am also very pleased to announce that the lovely Ms. MalPractice U.J. has done the artwork for our upcoming demo. You may have seen her work on the inside booklet of the Fondlecorpse album. She is a fantastic artist and she's actually interested in old gory horror films and, not to mention, great thrash bands.
Even though she prefers drawing disturbing pieces, she is diverse and does other types of work.
She is great to work with. She is very kind and professional. The price is great for the quality of work. I'm definitely going to have to work with her again on other projects in the near future.
If you're interested in working with her, I'll post her website at the bottom of this post. She should have contact and price information on her official website.

It's been a while.

Here I am, once again. I've attempted to maintain a blog many times before and I'm not sure why I'd imagine this one would last any longer, but, alas, I am making the effort.

I suppose I should give you an idea of what you can expect from this, so-called, blog. Well, my original plan is to post ideas for current projects in comics, music, and short films. Once I get a scanner, I can make it a little more flashy and probably more interesting.

Alright, well, I'm done with this entry, but I'll be posting a more interesting one immediately following this one.
